Eligibility Criteria For Canada PR

An applicant must score a 67 minimum number of points to be able to apply for a PR visa.


Age range 18 – 45 are eligible for this program.

Education Eligibility

To apply for Canada PR you must hold some post-secondary education. Points are awarded for all post-secondary education based on the level of qualification (i.e. – Diploma, Graduation, Post-Graduation and Doctorate etc.).

English or French Speaker Without Language Test Results

Points are awarded to candidates for level of language proficiency in English or French language. These points depend on score obtained in the language tests approved by CIC. In order to be eligible as a skilled worker a minimum score of CLB 7 is required as per the Canadian Language Benchmark.

Skilled Work Experience

The candidate must hold minimum one year of continuous paid experience in the past ten years in the skills O, A or B category in National Occupation Classification (NOC) list.


Having a spouse or common law partner giving IELTS will attain you extra 10 points.

Arranged Employment

If you get a letter of intent by the Canadian employer it will render you 10 extra points but for that your occupation must be listed in NOC with skill code type A,O or B.

Other Requirements

In order to apply for Canada PR, an  applicant is required to be able to financially capable to support their preliminary stay in Canada.
